History
The medieval Great Hall is Grade I listed, NHLE 1079041, first listed on 8 June 1973, at TQ 42411 73987. Eltham Court, the house of the 1930s, is Grade II listed, NHLE 1212906, listed on 6 July 1981. The gardens were registered at Grade II on 2 December 1998, NHLE 1001410, covering 8.27 hectares, and the palace is a scheduled monument of 5.40 hectares, NHLE 1014833, scheduled on 9 October 1981 and amended on 10 June 1998; scheduled monuments carry no grade. The moat crossings are Grade I: the north bridge, NHLE 1218925, and the remains of the south bridge, NHLE 1358958. The inner courtyard walls with adjoining chambers are Grade I, NHLE 1218900.
