Goodspeed Opera House

A Victorian riverside theater built in 1876, celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2026; Goodspeed mounts new and newly revived musicals each year, and twenty-one of its productions have transferred to Broadway. The 2026 season includes The Snow Goose (Aug 28-Oct 18) and Annie (Oct 30-Dec 27).
History
Went from a bustling community center to an abandoned state highway storage depot marked for demolition in 1958 before its revival.
