Harrow & Wealdstone is a working interchange station on Station Road, HA3 5AH, 11 miles 30 chains (18.31 km) along the West Coast Main Line from London Euston. The station is listed Grade II as NHLE 1253982 and the platform buildings, comprising the ticket office and waiting rooms, carry a separate Grade II entry, NHLE 1253986. TfL returns it as interchange HUBHRW.
History
The Grade II listing was made on 6 September 1989 as list entry 1253982, with the platform buildings entered separately as list entry 1253986. The rail crash of 1952 happened here and killed 112 people. Four named services call across three operators: the Bakerloo line of the Underground, which terminates here; the Lioness line of the London Overground; and Southern and West Midlands Trains on National Rail, the latter running under its London Northwestern Railway brand.
