History

Per Wikipedia's "Holmes-Crafts Homestead" article, the Federal-style wood-frame house was built in 1820 on Old North Jay Road and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 26, 1973 (reference number 73000105); it is "owned by the Jay Historical Society, and is open by appointment," now operating as a museum maintained by that society.
