Indian Well State Park

A Housatonic riverfront park built around a waterfall and gorge, with a sandy swimming beach, the river's only public boat launch, seasonal kayak rentals and access to the blue-blazed Paugussett Trail. Open daily 8 a.m.-sunset; November-March closed to vehicles, walk-in only. Free for CT-plated vehicles; out-of-state parking $10 weekdays, $15 weekends.
