History
NYC Parks acquired the site on October 24, 1957, the same year the Rugby branch library opened on Utica Avenue. It falls within Community District 17; Wikipedia's account of Brooklyn Community Board 17 lists Rugby among the district's neighborhoods and gives East 98th Street as the district's eastern boundary.
