The East Gate, for pedestrian access only, is locked at 4.30pm Monday to Sunday and at 1.00pm on bank holidays.

It straddles a borough boundary: its centre, the Anglican Chapel and the eastern part are in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, while the western and southern edges are in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
