The Filipino district, also called Filipinotown, that Wikipedia places along Roosevelt Avenue from 63rd Street to 71st Street. The encyclopedia says "Filipino cafés and restaurants dominate the area, as well as several freight and remittance centers scattered throughout the neighborhood," alongside professional services, driving schools, beauty salons and immigration services.
History
Wikipedia records that the intersection of 70th Street and Roosevelt Avenue was co-named "Little Manila Avenue" on June 12, 2022, with a sign-unveiling ceremony to celebrate the Filipino community's presence and contributions in Queens.
