Lock 12 Historical Park

A restored section of the Farmington Canal, which operated 1828-1848, including the lock chamber and a helicoidal stone bridge. Includes a small museum, picnic area and a 2.9-mile hiking/biking trail connecting to the wider Farmington Canal trail system; a typical visit runs about an hour. The small museum's hours are seasonal and unpublished — call (203) 272-2743 first.
