New Utrecht High School

A public high school that opened in 1915 and moved to its present 80th Street building in November 1924.
History
Its alumni include Frank Sinatra, the boxer Paulie Malignaggi, the sports executive Art Modell, the opera singer Robert Merrill, the producer Tony Visconti, the psychologist Walter Mischel and David Geffen. The building appeared in the 1947 film It Happened in Brooklyn and in the television series Welcome Back, Kotter.
