Old Gravesend Cemetery
Historic site · Gravesend, New York
A 1.65-acre burying ground established around 1658, bounded by Van Sicklen Street, McDonald Avenue, Village Road and Gravesend Neck Road. It holds the graves of the town's original patentees and their descendants, and Lady Deborah Moody is traditionally associated with a burial here.
History
Designated a New York City Landmark on March 23, 1976, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 17, 1980 under reference number 80002635.
