Parmelee Farm

A 132-acre town-owned historic farm on Connecticut's State Register of Historic Places, bought by the town in 2000. On the grounds are an 18th-century farmhouse, a stone barn, a historic one-room schoolhouse, a sugar shack, a corn crib and community gardens; trails open dawn to dusk. The pavilion hosts events up to 150 guests.
