History
The house is Grade I listed, NHLE 1218679, first listed on 19 October 1951, at national grid reference TQ 38887 76832. That grid reference falls inside the core area of the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site, NHLE 1000096, and outside the registered boundary of Greenwich Park, NHLE 1000174. A commemorative plaque on the house records that Philip, 4th Earl of Chesterfield lived there.
