The Royal Brass Foundry stands on the Royal Arsenal site in Woolwich, SE18 6GH. It is not routinely open to visitors and is seen from outside. Woolwich Arsenal station, on the DLR, Southeastern and Thameslink, and Woolwich Elizabeth line station are 265 m apart by TfL's measure.

History

The foundry is Grade I listed, NHLE 1078956, first listed on 8 June 1973, at national grid reference TQ 43737 79063; Historic England names the entry ROYAL ARSENAL BRASS FOUNDRY ROYAL FOUNDRY. On the same site the Grand Store ranges, NHLE 1078958, the Board Room, NHLE 1359015, and the Dial Square entrance range, NHLE 1211005, are Grade II. On Woolwich Common the Rotunda, the former Royal Artillery Museum building, is Grade II, NHLE 1078987, as are the Royal Artillery Barracks main building, NHLE 1078918, and the Royal Military Academy main building, NHLE 1358936.
