Feusier Octagon House

An eight-sided house on Green Street, later given a third storey, a mansard roof and a cupola. It is San Francisco Landmark No. 36, designated in 1970, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, reference number 74000554. One of three octagon houses in San Francisco. It is a private residence with no public access.

History

George Kenny built the house in about 1857 and 1858; it was sold in 1870 to Louis Feusier, whose family name it now carries. The Article 10 register spells it Feusier Octagon House/Kenny Residence. It contributes to the Russian Hill-Paris Block Architectural District, National Register reference number 87002288.
