Saratoga Park

A 3.21-acre park established in 1896 on former circus grounds, holding a First World War memorial with a sculpture by James Novelli that was dedicated in 1921. It is colloquially called 'Saratoga Square Park.'

History

The memorial's plaques were stolen in 1970 and its sculpture in 2000; the memorial was restored and rededicated in 2014.
