SOMArts Cultural Center

A city-owned arts centre of 26,000 square feet on Brannan Street. Its own site gives Thursday 3pm to 7pm, Friday noon to 7pm, Saturday and Sunday noon to 5pm, closed Monday to Wednesday.
History
The centre grew out of the Neighborhood Arts Program, which the San Francisco Arts Commission created in 1967. SOMArts became an independent 501(c)(3) organisation in August 1979.
