History
Per Wikipedia's article on Springside Park, it is a recreational city park on the north side of Pittsfield spanning 237.5 acres, described as the city's largest green space; former mayor Kelton Miller began purchasing land for the park in 1908, and he and his wife Eva donated 10 acres to the city in 1910. The park's historic district, centered on the circa-1856 Springside House, was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 27, 2008.
