A waterfront bar still open under Tone Balzano Johansen, known for its Sundays at Sunny's live-music and reading gatherings.
History
Founded in 1890 as John's Bar and Restaurant, serving sailors and stevedores, and made a neighborhood cultural hub under Antonio 'Sunny' Balzano in the 1990s. It took extensive flooding and structural damage in the October 2012 storm and reopened in September 2013.
