Thomas Lee House

One of the oldest wood-frame houses in Connecticut, built in the late 1660s and saved from demolition in 1914 by the East Lyme Historical Society. The adjoining Little Boston School, founded 1734 with the present schoolhouse built 1803, moved to the grounds in 1931; its barn displays Nehantic artifacts and exhibits on Ezra Lee's Revolutionary War submarine, the Turtle. Regular season opens in summer, Wednesday-Sunday 1-4 p.m. — call ahead to confirm dates.
