V&A East Museum is on East Bank at 107 Carpenters Road, E20 2AR. The V&A publishes hours of 10.00 to 18.00 daily, with Thursday and Saturday 10.00 to 22.00. Admission is free, with separate charges for some exhibitions and events.
History
The Museum is one of two V&A East sites and the one in Newham; V&A East Storehouse, at Parkes Street, E20 3AX, stands over the boundary in the London Borough of Hackney. The London Legacy Development Corporation describes the Museum as holding galleries on creativity and a landmark exhibition on Black British music history. The V&A gives its collections as more than 1.25 million objects across the whole museum.
