Veterans Memorial Park

A 149-acre town park built around Hockanum Lake, formerly a ski club property the town acquired in 1997 and opened to the public in 1999. Features a swimming beach, an easy Lake Loop Trail, moderate woodland trails, basketball and tennis courts, a playground, and a veterans' Wall of Honor added in 2002. Non-residents need a parking pass from the Tax Collector's Office.
