History
Two designations cover the same fabric: a Grade II* listing, NHLE 1378484, made on 2 March 1950, and a scheduled monument, NHLE 1002054, scheduled on 8 May 1951 over 0.557 hectares. The scheduled-monument record carries no grade; a grade attaches to listed buildings and to registered parks and gardens. The ruin stands inside the Borough High Street conservation area.
