The Zoroastrian Centre occupies the former Grosvenor Cinema, an Art Deco super-cinema at 440 Alexandra Avenue, Rayners Lane, HA2 9TL, listed Grade II* as NHLE 1079729. The building is in use as a religious and community centre, so interior access is by arrangement; no source states visitor hours, so none are given here.

History

The Grade II listing was made on 13 March 1981 as list entry 1079729; the entry is named "Ace Cinema" and the building has also been recorded as the Grosvenor Theatre. It is one of twenty Grade II entries in the borough. Two cinema buildings in Harrow carry entries: this one at Grade II* and the Granada at Kenton, Grade II, NHLE 1253949. Rayners Lane Underground station, 251 m away, is itself listed Grade II, NHLE 1261430, and is where the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines share track.
