Sherman Adams served as the resort's president and general manager until his death in 1986.

In 2019, per that same page, Loon introduced what it describes as "North America's first ever dual-frequency RFID gates" at key base-area lifts. According to Loon Mountain Resort's own History page, the South Peak Expansion, completed in 2023, added 11 trails and one four-person chairlift.
