History
The theatre opened in 1977 as Hayes's receiving house. It is one of four venues tagged as a theatre inside the borough boundary in OpenStreetMap, alongside the Compass Theatre at Ickenham, the Winston Churchill Hall at Ruislip and the open-air theatre in Barra Hall Park. Barra Hall itself, about 345 m south-west of the theatre, was Hayes's town hall from 1924 to 1979 and is listed Grade II as NHLE 1080105, made on 6 September 1974 under the register name "HAYES TOWN HALL". Hayes & Harlington Rail Station, on the Elizabeth line and Great Western Railway, is the nearest station.
