Bushnell House
Museum · Westbrook, Connecticut
Built between 1680 and 1720, this house stands as a memorial to submarine inventor David Bushnell, though he never lived in it — he lived about a mile away on the road to Essex. Leighton Lee III, who ran his Museum of Early Engineering Technology in the building, donated it to the Town of Westbrook in 2021; the Westbrook Historical Society opened it as an antique house museum in June 2024.
