A roughly 132-acre NYC Parks property with baseball fields, a cricket field, basketball and tennis courts, a skate park, a dog run, playgrounds and a nature trail. A Parks Department historical sign on site recounts the land's Canarsee and Dutch colonial history, including Jan Martense Schenck's purchase of the surrounding land in 1675.
