The manor house is listed at Grade II* as 'Capel House', NHLE 1078898, first listed on 19 March 1951 and amended on 10 December 1975, under the statutory address 'CAPEL HOUSE, BULLSMOOR LANE'; the Historic England record gives the district as Enfield (London Borough). The list entry describes a 'Mid-late C18 house. Main block of 2 storeys and attic, 7 windows; with 2-storey one-window side wings' with 'rich interiors of late C19 in a reproduction Restoration style'. The stables and former coach house range are separately listed Grade II, NHLE 1358742, on 26 January 1990, and the garden walls east of Capel House are Grade II, NHLE 1078899. Turkey Street station is about 1,111 m away; Theobalds Grove, about 2,137 m, is in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.
