The thirteenth-century cloister and the Cappella di San Silvestro, the oratory of the cardinal's palace, inside the complex of the Santi Quattro Coronati. Roma Capitale gives the Oratorio di San Silvestro as visitable Monday to Saturday, 09.30 to 12.00, and states that the afternoon opening, Monday to Sunday 16.00 to 17.30, is not guaranteed. The Aula Gotica's own site states that during its public openings the thirteenth-century cloister and the Oratorio di San Silvestro may also be visited, 9.30 to 14.00 and 15.00 to 17.45, and that in 2026 the cloister may also be visited on Wednesday and Friday mornings, 9.30 to 11.45, except on holidays; an offering is appreciated for entry.
History
Roma Capitale records that from the Stanza del Calendario, the antechamber to the nuns' parlour, which carries a thirteenth-century fresco, one reaches the Cappella di San Silvestro, painted with the Stories of Pope Sylvester, among them the Donation of Constantine.
