Tempio del Divo Claudio (resti)

The remains of the temple to the deified Claudius, on the western slope of the Caelian, which the Sovrintendenza Capitolina records under Rione XIX - Celio. Nothing of the temple building itself survives, but the substructures of its platform stand substantially, notably on the east side along the modern via Claudia. On the west side a series of two-storey rooms with a travertine façade survives inside the property of the church and convent of Santi Giovanni e Paolo. The Museo della Forma Urbis stands on the same platform.
