The Flood Mansion at 1000 California Street is San Francisco Landmark No. 64, designated in 1974, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on 13 November 1966 as the James C. Flood Mansion, reference number 66000230. It is a National Historic Landmark. The building houses the Pacific-Union Club, which is private, so there are no visiting hours.

History

SF Planning records the building as built in 1911, on parcel APN 0245001. The National Park Service holds its address as California and Mason Streets. No source states the name of its architect.
