The birthplace of Declaration of Independence signer Samuel Huntington: an 18th-century colonial house on its original foundation, bordered by Merrick Brook, with old-growth trees and stone walls. A National Historic Landmark on the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route. Open first and third Saturdays, May-October, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
