Idrocronometro del Pincio
Historic site · Campo Marzio, Italy
The water clock on viale dell'Orologio, standing at the centre of a small lake inside an iron railing.
History
Roma Capitale writes that the mechanism is generally attributed to the Dominican father Giovanni Battista Embriaco, and keeps that hedge; this record keeps it too. The same source records that the hydrochronometer was placed in its present position in 1873.
