Mark Twain Library

Founded by Samuel Clemens after he moved to Redding in 1908, the library still carries his name and keeps exhibits on his life, alongside a MakerSpace. Hosts an annual Book Fair each Labor Day weekend. Hours Mon & Thu 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Tue/Wed/Fri/Sat 10 a.m.-5 p.m., closed Sunday. Phone (203) 938-2545.
