Old Stone House
Historic site · Park Slope, New York
A reconstructed Dutch farmhouse, now a small history and cultural centre inside JJ Byrne Playground, open Friday to Sunday from 12 to 4pm and by appointment.
History
It stands on ground where Revolutionary War fighting took place during the Battle of Brooklyn, also known as the Battle of Long Island. A 250th-anniversary commemoration is scheduled there for August 22, 2026.
