Our Lady of Victory Church

A church of dark Manhattan schist trimmed in white limestone, built between 1891 and 1895 to designs by the architect Thomas F. Houghton, and named as one of the Stuyvesant Heights Historic District's landmarks.

History

The parish was established in 1868. In 2011 the Diocese of Brooklyn consolidated it with two others to form St. Martin de Porres Parish, which continues to use the building for worship.
