History
The Palace Theatre was built by Greek immigrant Victor Charas, with construction beginning in June 1914 and the theatre opening on April 9, 1915, per the theatre's own History page. The theatre's own history page describes it as having been "considered the only first-class theatre in New Hampshire that was fireproof and 'air-conditioned.'"
