History
The Currier Museum of Art's own Frank Lloyd Wright page describes the Zimmerman House as a 1949 Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Usonian home commissioned by Isadore and Lucille Zimmerman, stating that the Currier is "the only museum in the country to steward two houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, which are open to the public via guided tour."
