Palazzo Rondinini

Roma Capitale records that the palace was built for the Marchese Giuseppe Rondinini, a collector from Faenza, by enlarging a building that had belonged to the Cavalier d'Arpino. Gabriele Valvassori, the Doria Pamphilj family architect, did much of the exterior, and Alessandro Dori the via del Corso façade, the courtyard and the interiors. Four years of work were finished in 1764, when the collection moved in.
