Quinnipiac River State Park

A 323-acre state park created in 1948 from land left over after construction of the Wilbur Cross Parkway, spanning North Haven and Wallingford and protecting about six miles of the Quinnipiac River across several riverside sections. Gentle riverside walking suited to canoeing and fishing; trails maintained by the North Haven Trail Association.
