Golf Digest's 2025-'26 Best in State ranking lists Quintero Golf Club 16th in Arizona, the highest-ranked course on that list labelled "Public"; every course ranked #1 through #15 on the same list is labelled "Private." Troon, the course's operator, labels it on its own course page "Semi-private." Rees Jones designed the course, which opened for play in 2000; Golf Digest credits the 2025 renovation to Rees Jones and Steve Weisser. The U.S. Census Bureau's geocoder, run on two independently sourced coordinate pairs for the property, places the course in Maricopa County and within Peoria city's incorporated limits.
