Locanda del Gallo (Albergo della Vacca)

A building at the corner of vicolo del Gallo and via dei Cappellari that was acquired in the fifteenth century by Vannozza Cattanei, mother of Lucrezia, Cesare, Giovanni and Goffredo Borgia. Her family arms are still on the vicolo del Gallo front, and there is a Madonna dell'Immacolata at the via dei Cappellari corner.
History
The building was an inn known as the Albergo della Vacca and later as the Locanda del Gallo.
