The church of the English community in Rome, attached to the Venerabile Collegio Inglese. Its right flank on via di Monserrato has an eclectic Romanesque portal, four round oculi and arched windows above; inside, the plan is a rectangular three-aisled hall on seven columns, with funerary monuments including Thomas Dereham's by Ferdinando Fuga. History
The church was known in the seventh century as Santissima Trinità degli Scozzesi. After the Jubilees of 1300 and 1350 a hospice was built and the older church attached to it. In 1579 Gregory XIII gave the whole complex to the Jesuits, who turned the hospice into an English college. After heavy damage in the late eighteenth century the church was rebuilt to a design by Pietro Camporese the Younger and finished in the second half of the nineteenth century by Virginio Vespignani.
