Via di Monserrato

The spine of the northern half of the rione. Eight streets and alleys run into Piazza Farnese, and via di Monserrato is one of them. Along it stand Palazzo Incoronati at 152, Santa Maria in Monserrato degli Spagnoli at 115, San Tommaso di Canterbury and the Venerabile Collegio Inglese at 45, and Chez Dédé at 35.
History
The street carries the name of the Spanish national church built on it, Santa Maria in Monserrato degli Spagnoli, whose first stone was laid on 13 June 1518.
