Roseland Cottage

The 1846 pink Gothic Revival summer home of New York merchant, publisher, and abolitionist Henry C. Bowen, and a National Historic Landmark operated by Historic New England. Its grounds include a boxwood garden and what is described as the nation's oldest surviving indoor bowling alley. Open seasonally; check current hours before visiting.
