The Science Museum is on Exhibition Road and opens daily, 10.00–18.00, with last entry at 17:15. It closes 24–26 December. General admission is free but requires a pre-booked ticket.
History
The museum buildings carry no National Heritage List entry, although their neighbours on Exhibition Road do: the Royal College of Music is listed at Grade II, NHLE 1265501, and the Royal School of Mines at Grade II, NHLE 1227162. Queen's Tower, the surviving campanile of the Imperial Institute, stands beside the museum and is listed at Grade II, NHLE 1231643.
