Wandle Industrial Museum

The museum's stated mission is to preserve, store, and interpret the heritage and history of the industries and people of the River Wandle — snuff, calico printing, dyeing and flour — and it interprets the sites at Merton Abbey, Morden Hall and Ravensbury Mill, which is listed Grade II as NHLE 1080857. The exhibition Women of the Wandle, on the women who inherited and ran the Wandle mills, opened to the public on Sunday 15 June. The operator advises 45 to 60 minutes for a visit; there is no museum car park and no public toilets, and wheelchair access is available but difficult for larger motorised chairs.
