Warner Theatre

Opened August 19, 1931, built by Warner Bros. Studios to a design by theater architect Thomas W. Lamb, with 1,772 seats in an Art Deco style. Closed and slated for demolition in the early 1980s, it was rescued by the Northwest Connecticut Association for the Arts and reopened May 22, 1983; today it runs more than 160 performances a year.
