Webster Street Historic District

A run of Webster Street covering three blocks and 25 parcels. It is San Francisco Landmark District No. 2, designated under Article 10 of the Planning Code by Ordinance 166-81 on 8 April 1981.
History
The district takes in 25 Italianate houses built between 1878 and 1880, sharing a vertical emphasis, angled bay windows and a dominant cornice line. The houses are in private hands and are read from the pavement.
